Range Rover PHEV Uses Best of Gas and Electric Power

Drivers near Royal Oak know that the Range Rover offers an unparalleled combination of luxury and capability. When you want to go off road in style, few SUVs can match this British legend.

For most of its rich history, the Range Rover has relied on simple internal combustion for its power. These gasoline engines have served the SUVs valiantly over the years, but now there's a new, more advanced powertrain available.

The 2019 Range Rover now offers a PHEV powertrain. The Range Rover PHEV (Plug-in Electric Vehicle) combines the efforts of both a gasoline engine and an electric motor. Its four-cylinder gasoline engine makes 296 horsepower, while the electric motor makes 141 horsepower. Combined, they have a total output of 397 horsepower. But it's not just power that the Range Rover PHEV offers. In its full electric mode, the SUV offers up to 31 miles of zero-emission driving.

The Range Rover PHEV will be available this coming summer, so be sure to chat with a member of our sales team about ordering yours.
