2020 Range Rover Gets a New Straight-Six Powertrain with Mild Hybrid Technology

The legendary Range Rover has spent decades at the top of the luxury SUV heap. With each generation, the venerated off-road champion gets better and better. For 2020, the trend continues.

The latest Range Rover comes with an all-new available straight-six gas engine that works with a mild hybrid system to deliver excellent power and efficiency alike. The 3.0-liter inline-six comes from Land Rover's Ingenium family of engines and will be available in two output levels. The P360 produces 355 horsepower, while the P400 makes 395 horsepower.

If you're not interested in this powertrain, you can also choose from a variety of four-cylinder and V8 engine options. One thing is certain -- there's a Range Rover powertrain for every driving preference.

Aside from powertrain updates, the new Range Rover will also have new cosmetic options. The 2020 model will be available with both Eiger Grey and Portofino Blue. Plus, a new 22-inch gloss-black wheel option will be available.

On top of these updates, the 2020 Range Rover will retain its balanced focus on luxury and capability. Standard all-wheel drive and high ground clearance give the Range Rover excellent all-terrain ability. Meanwhile, a wealth of interior amenities throughout the cabin ensure that your comfort needs are taken care of.
